Avianca é eleita melhor aérea da América do Sul; Azul vence no baixo custo

A companhia aérea Avianca foi eleita a melhor empresa aérea da América do Sul pelo "Oscar" da aviação (Skytrax World Airline Awards). O ranking foi divulgado nesta terça-feira (20).

No ranking geral, com todas as empresas aéreas do mundo, a Avianca subiu da 56ª para a 50ª posição.

No ano ado, a LAN havia sido eleita a melhor empresa aérea da América do Sul. Foi o último ano em que o nome LAN foi usado na classificação. Com a união da chilena com a brasileira TAM, ou-se a adotar o nome Latam no ranking. Neste ano, já como Latam, a companhia aérea aparece na 59ª posição.

A Azul foi eleita a melhor companhia aérea de baixo custo da América Latina. No ranking com todas as empresas do mundo, aparece em 52º lugar, subindo três colocações em relação ao ano anterior.

Qatar é a melhor do mundo

A Qatar Airways foi eleita a melhor empresa aérea do mundo este ano, superando a líder do ano ado, a Emirates, que ficou em quarto lugar. Na segunda posição está a Singapore Airlines.

A AirAsia, da Malásia, ficou com o prêmio de melhor companhia aérea de baixo custo do mundo.

O ranking foi anunciado nesta terça-feira durante a Paris Air Show, feira de aviação que acontece na França.

Os premiados são definidos após uma pesquisa com clientes de companhias áreas.
